Stitches

Luke said he HAD to throw the ball at David.
Here's what happened:

David was picking on Jacob so Luke picked up the big ball and threw it at David.


David fell and hit the side of his head on the corner of this seat.

Maria's friend, Meron, came upstairs and said, "Um, Mrs. Speckhard? David has blood on his ear." Boy howdy.

The lady at the ER asked David what happened. David told her, "I fell down the stairs." The nurse looked at John. "How many stairs did he 'fall down,' sir?" John said he didn't fall down the stairs. She looked at David again and asked him about the stairs. By then David had no idea what she was talking about.

John said that it was a good thing I wasn't there to see what they had to do to David. (I still wanted to be there.) David was excited when he got home to show everyone his head bandage and he was proud to tell them all about it, especially the part about being Superman (the doctor and nurse told him that he was Superman when they put him in the restraining papoose). He ended up getting four stitches in his left ear.
