Another Wildcat season has come and gone. Our Northside coaches were great. The kids have a blast with them every summer. Maria did a lot of pitching and both Maria and Benjamin had some great hits this summer. Besides pegging a few kids, Maria struck out her fair share of batters. Unfortunately, over half their team never showed up for games so they rarely had an outfielder but still ended up in 3rd place.
This was Luke's first year in Wildcats. After hearing about the Perfect Attendance medal, he decided he would go for it and even opted to stay home rather than going on a camping trip during the Wildcat season.
Here's Luke turning a double play.Just kidding. It was a small miracle to get one out during the innings let alone two outs in one play.
David would have been in this picture but he was sleeping in the dugout. The players only use one dugout so we sit in the other one. Here he is sprawled out and he even slept through getting hit by a foul ball that rolled in the dugout.
Grandma and Grandpa came for the last couple games.
