One of the things on our "list" was to replace the doors in the family room. There were 1/2 inch gaps in places where we had shoved paper toweling and whatever else was available to keep the frigid air out or the cool air in. Oh yeah, and on several occasions, on windy days, the doors would just fly open because it didn't quite latch the way it was supposed to. And no matter how many times or how hard you would scrub those windows, they'd still look awful. There was that annoying "fog" in between the window panes. We needed to do something.
It's hard to tell really what it looks like.
They just fit the windows right where the doors used to be. We need to do a little work to the added trim but other than that, it's done. It's brighter in there and about 10 degrees warmer. 
Next item on the "list," drapes.
